Between 2:15pm and 5:15pm, the UN chief will engage in a dialogue with youth representatives and hold a meeting with civil society members, also at InterContinental. His visit will conclude with a joint press briefing alongside Foreign Adviser Touhid Hossain at 5:20pm.
Guterres arrived in Bangladesh on Thursday for a four-day visit. On Friday, he held discussions with Chief Adviser Prof Mohammad Yunus, Foreign Adviser Touhid Hossain, and the Chief Adviser’s High Representative on Rohingya and other pressing issues.
